Continuing Students Incentive Program

University Housing and Food Service is announcing exciting opportunities for all current UHFS residents who continue to live with UHFS for the 2013-2014 academic year.

THE UNIVERSITY VILLAGE OPTION

At University Village (UV) - our apartment-style residential community - special incentives are being offered to continuing students choosing to live at UV for the next academic year.

  • NO MEAL PLAN REQUIREMENT - Of course, continuing students can select a meal plan, but doing so is voluntary.  All meals will be served in our Sutter Dining Center.
  • Continuing students will be offered a reimbursement for a self-storage rental fee in Chico – A reimbursement of up to $126.00 for the summer storage of your personal belongings so you don’t have to move all your belongings home and back to Chico again for the summer.
  • Also for continuing students, there is a General Room Selection (GRS) process where any group of friends, even co-ed friends, can assign themselves to the cluster they want in UV North!
  • AND… continuing students will have priority for on-site UV parking, if entered into UV parking lottery in July.

THE SUTTER HALL OPTION Living large in the middle of campus!

  • AND… continuing students will have priority in the on-campus parking lottery if entered into parking lottery in July. 

LET’S DO THIS!  HOW DO I SIGN UP?

  • Applications for continuing students will be accepted between 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 12th   and Monday, April 1st, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. 
  • University Housing applications received after April 1, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. will not be eligible for GRS process. To apply, go to www.CSUChico.edu/Housing, click on “Want to Apply” to be taken to our University Housing on-line application site.
  • Your initial housing payment for fall 2013 is due on May 3rd, 2013. Applicants are required to submit initial housing payment in order to be eligible for GRS process that starts at 12:00 p.m. on May 7th, 2013.
