Living Independently

University Village is CSU Chico's gated community. Here you will have a more independent living arrangement, with all the benefits of a traditional residence hall. Like the residence halls, University Village has full-time professional staff, and student staff to combine the community. At UV, you'll have the option to live in a Suite or Single Studio. Single Studios are reserved for upper level students.

Some facts about UV

Extended Stay Communities

Need to stay in your space during traditional campus breaks? If so, you will want to live in University Village. Residential buildings and many campus services including the dining commons are closed during breaks. It is important for students to carefully plan their meals, transportation, and activities throughout the break.
