Residence Hall Opportunities for Leadership and Involvement
Only by living in on-campus housing will students have the opportunity to meet each other and become a member of the residence hall community. Our nationally recognized student groups—The Residence Hall Association, Residence Hall Programming Board (Prime Time Productions), and National Residence Hall Honorary—are just a few of the many options students have to get involved and get connected to campus. Below are some of the programming and leadership opportunities available.
Residence Hall Association
The Residence Hall Association (RHA) is the chief legislative body of student government in the residence halls. It provides a governmental forum to increase communication among students, staff, faculty, and administration. RHA also provides recreational, educational, and service programs to meet the needs of residence hall students.
RHA is here for students. We are constantly looking for new ideas to improve our programming and our residence hall system. RHA is led by an executive board of five members, and elections are held each spring.
Interested in running for an RHA position? Elections are held each April.

Prime Time Productions
Prime Time Productions (PTP) is the major programming organization for the residence halls. We sponsor live shows and weekly programming in collaboration with many campus partners. We are committed to providing a variety of high-quality programs, including social and recreational activities, thought-provoking diversity events, and creative academic enrichment programs.
PTP is run by a board of seven students, hired each spring, who are responsible for everything from booking professional entertainers to handling publicity and sound and lights. Committee members are always looking for help from you, our new students, to assist in organizing the year's programs.
Interested in volunteering for events? Contact PTP.
Interested in working for PTP? Applications will be available in March 2014.
National Residence Hall Honorary
The National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH) is the premiere honorary supported by the leading national organization advocating for the interests and welfare of residence hall students, while also providing opportunities for their personal growth and development. NRHH strives to provide recognition for individuals who have contributed to the advancement of college and university housing. It ensures the advancement of member chapters through resource sharing, programming, and leadership development opportunities to contribute and support the vision of the National Association of College and University Residence Halls, Incorporated.
