The campus will be open on Monday, December 31, 2012.
- Employees may request leave (CTO, Vacation, or their Personal Holiday) for December 31, and
- Departments may plan partial or complete closures for December 31.
On December 31, the campus will be open but only certain buildings will be accessible. Employees who wished to work were notified to make arrangements with their administrator and Denise Farrell prior to December 7.
The Governor granted informal time off for half a day on the last campus working day before the Christmas holiday. In addition to the Governor’s informal time off, the CSU Chancellor granted authority to presidents (on 12/18/2012) to allow further informal time off on December 24, so the campus will close for the entire day (with the exception of essential personnel).
We anticipate many employees will continue to want to take additional time off the week prior to the winter break (December 17-21, 2012). We encourage you to speak with your supervisor to discuss vacation leave and coverage during the days the University will be open.
Questions should be addressed to Denise Farrell or Sharyn Abernatha in the Human Resources Service Center. Both can be reached at (530) 898-6771.
