Labor Relations & Compliance Welcomes Saake
The Human Resources Service Center (HRSC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dylan Saake as the new Director of Labor Relations and Compliance, effective December 31, 2012. This position joins oversight of Staff and MPP compliance issues with Labor Relations. This position leads the development, implementation, and coordination of labor relations, compliance, applicable discrimination and harassment allegations, and employee/labor relations advice to campus management for all positions except faculty—in partnership with Denise Farrell, our Employee Relations manager.
Dylan has a Juris Doctorate from the University of Virginia School of Law, a Bachelor’s in English/American Literature and Culture from UCLA, and is a licensed attorney. Dylan’s past work history includes: Regional Director/Directing Attorney for California Rural Legal Assistance, Inc.; Vice President of the Legal Service Workers of Rural California, NOLSW – UAW, Local 2320; and intern work with the National Labor Relations Board.
