Updates on State Employee Negotiated Salary IncreasesRevised 1/31/2014
CFA and APC: The State Controller’s Office (SCO) has processed the salary increases for eligible CFA and APC members. The increases were retroactive to July 1, 2013. Retroactive checks (or direct deposit advices) were bundled with November master paychecks. The SCO continues to process adjustments so additional pay may occur for some individuals. Employees can view their pay increase in the portal.
C99 and M80: Payroll has processed the lists approved by the Vice Presidents and the President for eligible C99 and M80 employees. Employees must have been active in a C99 or M80 position as of March 31, 2013 to be eligible for this increase. The increase was retroactive to July 1, 2013. Retroactive checks (or direct deposit advices) were bundled with December master paychecks.
- Compensation History – View the effective date of the increase and gross amount prior to and after the pay change.
- Paycheck History – By the 5th of each month, the previous month’s paychecks are viewable. Currently, employees can view the actual pay check information for the pay that has occurred through the end of November.
CSUEU, SETC and UAW: Proposed increase to be included in checks to be issued for February 2014 pay period (March 1, 2014 issue date). Employees must have been active in a CSUEU, SETC or UAW position as of July 1, 2013 to be eligible for this increase. The increases will be retroactive to July 1, 2013. Retroactive pay will be issued on a separate check. Retroactive checks (or direct deposit advices) will be bundled with February master paychecks.

SUPA: Negotiations have been completed. Human Resources will provide additional information as it is received from the Chancellor’s Office.

Funding: Once all negotiated increases have been processed, actual costs will be summarized. For positions funded by the Operating Fund, one-time funding allocations will be processed later this Spring based on the actual cost of the increase to the Dept ID. Base allocations for each division will be permanently increased beginning with the 2014-15 year.
