Overview

Employee entry of absences or "No Leave Taken" is required monthly by approximatley the fifth calendar day of the month.  An email remainder will be send every month with the specific due date of that month.

Instructions

Access via the email reminder

The email will contain a link to the employee absence entry page. When the link is clicked, you will be prompted to log in. Once successfully logged in, you will be taken to the employee entry page.

Access via the portal

At any time, you can use the deep link or navigate via the portal to absence entry or other self-service pages located on the State Employee tab. Links to the Portal and to email can be found on the Chico State home page. The same user name and password is used for both.

Access via HR Administrative PeopleSoft account

If you have administrative access to PeopleSoft HR, your Self Service actions show on your Main Menu. Log into PeopleSoft HR and navigate to Main Menu>Self Service>Report Time>Report and View Absences.

Defaults to "No Leave Taken" for the current month. Click Submit if this is appropriate or follow the instructions on the page. The Employee Steps to Report Absences has additional information as well.

Getting Help

  • Issues accessing the web or logging in to either the portal or e-mail should be sent to ITSS, IT Support Service Ticket or at extension 4357.
  • Questions about absence balances or issues with absence entry should be directed to Payroll via payroll@csuchico.edu or extension 6771.
