Alzheimer's Association's Spring Education Conference

Join the Alzheimer's Association at their Spring Education Conference Thursday, May 3, from 8:00 am - 12:30 pm at the Chico Masonic Family Center, 1110 West East Avenue. CEUs will be available and the scheduled speakers are Elizabeth S. Edgerly Ph.D. and David Troxel, MPH.

Encore Education - Senior Topics for Boomers & Beyond

This group will meet on Saturday once a month to learn about Senior Topics that may affect each of our lives. This monthly group will be a fun, educational hour you will not want to miss. Welcome to Medicare

Do you want to change your Part D plan? Did you know that you might be eligible for extra help paying for your prescriptions? If you have any questions about Medicare, you don't want to miss this meeting. The Health Insurance Counseling and Advocacy Program (HICAP) at Passages Adult Resource Center will present an information forum for those on Medicare, or those who are interested in learning about the changes and benefits of the Medicare Part D prescription drug programs. "Older Men Get Depressed: How Early Recognition of Depression Could Save Lives"

Speaker: Dr. Patrick Arbore. May 31 from 9 am-noon at Masonic Family Center. Participants will learn how to recognize signs of depression among older men. Participants will learn strategies to help older men with depression.
