BS Instructional Design & Technology, Minor in Health Education – CSU Chico
Kelly graduated with her Master's degree in Instructional Design and Technology in 2006. She has since been working for Bayer HealthCare in Berkeley, CA as an Instructional Designer. In addition, Kelly is an active ISPI member and has recently been working on getting published in Performance Express (see Performance Express November 2009).
"As an Instructional Designer, I am using all aspects of Instructional Design that we were taught at Chico State. I use everything from front end analysis to ROI and everything in between. When designing instructional materials and training modules, I prefer to use Dr. Main’s Integrated Instructional Design Model which is a combination of both the ADDIE model and Keller’s ARCS model. When writing learning objectives, I use Bloom’s taxonomy. I use so much of what I have learned at Chico State that I sometimes feel like I am still in school."
