International Studies

imageAre you intrigued by the world around you? Do you want to study-or even live-abroad? More than 95 percent of the world's population lives beyond the borders of the United States. Would you like to know more about the cultures and histories of these people and the challenges that they currently face?

International Studies at Chico State offers interdisciplinary degree programs in five major regions-Asia, Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, and Europe. The curriculum draws from a variety of departments on campus, including anthropology, art history, foreign languages, geography, history, political science, and religious studies. Our faculty are productive and current in their fields. Their courses provide students with an understanding of our complex, increasingly interconnected world. We also strongly encourage our students to study abroad.

We invite you to explore our website and contact the faculty coordinators of the programs that interest you.
