Student Services Center Kiosk
The new Student Services Center is one of the first buildings in the CSU system to be a candidate for gold certification by LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design). To earn an extra LEED point, the late Greg Francis, former Director of Facilities Planning, first had the idea of building an information kiosk that instructs the public about the sustainable efforts designed in the Student Services Center. Information Security System-wide Security Policy
The CSU is working on a project to develop system-wide information security policies and standards. A single set of information security policies and standards helps to ensure consistency across the CSU and prevents each campus from “reinventing the wheel” by developing their own policies and standards. These policies and standards include topics such as Security Awareness and Training, IT Security, Acceptable Use, Access Control, Physical Security, etc. The policies and standards will be reviewed by the state-wide academic senate this fall.
