Swickard Receives 2015 Staff Academic Award

Kirby Swickard, an advisor in Study Abroad and International Exchange, was awarded the Staff Council’s fall 2015 Staff Academic Award of $500. The award was presented at the council’s September 8 meeting.

Swickard earned her bachelor’s degree in agricultural business from CSU, Chico in 2011 and is nearing completion of her master’s degree in social science with an emphasis on student services. She expects to graduate in spring 2016.

Each semester, the Staff Council presents an award to one CSU, Chico staff member pursuing an education at any accredited college or university. The awards are funded by the Office of the Vice President for Business and Finance.
