Supporting Nursing Mothers

For decades, women at Chico State were relegated to their own devices to find a private place to express breast milk, whether breast-feeding or pumping. Recognizing “we can do better” than abiding by basic accommodation requirements, the University has created four designated lactation rooms and two welcoming spaces, and is looking for additional spaces to convert.
