Information Resources plans and provides resources, training, and support for campus information and technology services.  Information Resources covers the Meriam Library; student, staff, and faculty technology support and instruction in using information and technology; student Web space, campus e-mail, and portal access; media services, and online course services. 

Academic Technologies (ATEC)

Academic Technologies provides technical and artistic, professional services in the academic use of media and technology. ATEC is responsible for classroom technology, the learning management system (Vista), faculty support for online course development (distance learning and on campus courses), multimedia and graphic design, and production.

Application Development & Enterprise Design (ADED)

Application Development and Enterprise Design (ADED) is responsible for enterprise-wide computing applications that support core university business processes. These include identity management services, centralized directory services, the campus portal, the Common Management System (ERP system), data warehousing, and other database services.

Common Management Systems (CMS)

Common Management Systems coordinates the implementation, management, upgrades, and training of the university's PeopleSoft administrative applications including Human Resources, Financial Services, and Student Administration modules.

Communication Services (CSRV)

Communications Services (CSRV) is responsible for the design, installation, and maintenance of the campus cabling infrastructure; the data network (switches and routers), and the voice network including the Private Branch Exchange (PBX), telephone sets and voice mail services. In addition, CSRV is responsible for the university's remote service in Northern California to provide network services, remote access, and telephone services.

Computing & User Support (CAUS)

Computing and User Support provides centralized computing support to all students, faculty, and staff and also provides systems administration for most enterprise computing systems. CAUS is comprised of the following departments: User Services,  Student Computing, Enterprise Systems,  Web Application Development, and Library Systems.

Information Security (ISEC)

The Information Security Office works with the campus community to secure system and network resources, and protect the confidentiality of student, faculty, and staff information. To support this mission, the ISEC office develops processes, procedures, and policies, identifies and mitigates risks to the campus, and responds to information security events.

Meriam Library (MLIB)

The Meriam Library offers books, journals, and a growing collection of electronic resources.  The library's electronic collections are available to students on- and off-campus. You will also find computer labs, materials on reserve for classes, and special collections of the history of Northeastern California.  The library is available for individual and group study 91 hours each week; the third floor is for quiet study only. The Wildcat ID card serves as a library card and payment card for printing and copying.
