CSU, Chico has a Web-based portal system for use by new and current students, faculty, and staff. The portal provides access to a host of online services, including

  • The PeopleSoft Self Service student information system (for registration, financial aid, fee payment, etc.)
  • WildcatMail
  • Online Course Resources (WebCT)
  • Personal calendar (via WebCT)
  • Campus announcements
  • A page customizable by the user

Faculty and Staff

Microsoft Exchange is the primary e-mail system for faculty and staff that integrates electronic mail and scheduling. E-mail accounts have the ending of '@csuchico.edu'.  You can access your Exchange E-mail account online.

Students

Each student is provided with a campus WildcatMail account. We strongly urge you to review the contents of your WildcatMail account on a frequent and regular basis. Official notifications from the University related to enrollment, academic status, fees, holds, and financial aid will be sent only to your WildcatMail account.

Some of the features of the WildcatMail system are

  • 50 MB mail storage quota/10 MB attachment size limit
  • Built-in spam protection
  • Fully-featured Web-mail client, including address book and spell check
  • Simple management of mail folders
