Technology Projects

It’s difficult to find a project that doesn’t involve technology in some way, shape, or form. At CSU, Chico we have it all: from in-house applications with 10 users, to campus-wide software that affects thousands; from network access in an individual lab to wireless infrastructure that keeps the internet as available as oxygen. Information Resources (IRES) is responsible for coordinating technology projects of all shapes and sizes. To that end, we've put this page together to share information about the project request process, reports about the projects, and relevant resources.

From “small” projects to “large” projects (and everything in between)

To start things off, we need to determine where on the spectrum of “small” to “medium” to “large” your project is. This is an easy spot to get hung up, and there are a lot of factors that go into a project size, but for a first pass we want to decide if it’s on the small/medium or the medium/large side.
