Chico-China Graduate Scholarship
Qualified applicants from the People's Republic of China may be eligible to receive the Chico-China Graduate Scholarship to pursue a Master's degree at California State University, Chico. The Scholarship includes a per-semester stipend, a non-resident tuition waiver, a registration fee waiver, and a departmental Graduate Assistantship.
Scholarship Requirements:
Undergraduate GPA: 3.5 on a 4.0 scale
TOEFL: minimum score of 600 paper-based; 100 internet-based or IELTS 7.0
GRE: submission of GRE scores is required; each program has a different GRE score requirement
Applicants to the following Master's programs are eligible:
- Biological Sciences
- Communication Studies
- Electrical Engineering
- English
- Environmental Science
- Geography and Planning
- Geosciences
- History
- Nutritional Science
Graduates from the following institutions are eligible:
- Beijing Normal University
- Fudan University
- Jilin University
- Nanjing University
- Nankai University
- Xiamen University
- Xian Jiaotong University
- Zhejiang University
- Chongqing University
- Nanchang University
Additional Conditions:
- Applicants must not be older than 25 years old at the time of application
- Graduates who have studied overseas are not eligible
- Preference will be given to applicants who have no more than one semester of graduate work

Deadline for application is March 1 of every odd-numbered year (2011, 2013, 2015, etc.)
The selected candidate will have two weeks from receipt of admission letter to notify CSU, Chico of his/her acceptance of the Scholarship.
