Cat Bytes online magazine is produced by journalism students at California State University, Chico. It began with Dr. Glen Bleske's goal to teach students more about the emerging field of electronic journalism. Students learn the art of non-linear writing, HTML, and web page design. By the Spring semester of 2000, Cat Bytes will be a regularly- offered course. Writers from the magazine wring class and some Cat Bytes team members contributed stories.
