Make the Internet vacation friendly.
By going to yahoo.com
you can determine your travel destination whether it be by air, car or
cruise. At renaissancecruises.com you can book a dream cruise to the Mediterranean, Tahiti or the Greek Isles. What’s awesome about this site is you can get an itinerary of the cruises from the time you leave the U.S. to the time you come back. Each port of call also offers information about the city you’ll be spending the day in. The first port of call on the Greek Isles tour will land in Athens ... you can find out highlights, the city’s history, learn about museums and evenings at the vineyard. This site also lets you explore the entire ship ... see the cabins, spa, fitness centers and restaurants. Even take a virtual tour. Lycos.com is
another travel site where you can pick a destination and read all about
it. I decided to start my virtual trip by landing in the Caribbean’s Dominican
Republic. I found out about a couple of cities there, including Santo
Domingo. The town was founded in 1496 by Christopher Columbus’ brother
and is the home of the oldest Cathedral in America. The white beaches
and water sports in Sosua, Dominican Republic also sounds like a great
spot. The city was founded in 1940, when 500 Jewish refugees fled Europe.
Another cool site is rccl.com also known as the popular Royal Caribbean International Cruises. Check out the vacation planner and learn how you can land yourself in the Bahamas, Bermuda, Mexico, Alaska, Europe, Hawaii and the Caribbean all by boat. RCCL lets you plan your trip step by step with detailed |
