Pet-o-files
By Alex Ruiz

It is impossible to prove, but many pet owners are convinced there is more to their furry friend than just reflex and instinct.
For animal lovers, the care of a pet often goes beyond providing food, water and shelter. Sometimes, genuine emotions come into play and they become attached to what they believe to be the personality of their pets. Some owners even admit to treating their pets more like a member of the family than like an animal.
And, like so many other hobbies, pastimes and interests, the love for furry, four-legged critters has found it's way onto the Internet, where anyone from a bereaved owner mourning the loss of a pet, to an owner looking for a dress for a Chihuahua, can find a site to meet their needs. The love of animals abounds online, in all shapes and sizes. There are chatrooms aplenty and site after site dedicated to the touchy-feely side of pet ownership.
