I Scream. You Scream. We All Scream for Sunscreen.

Can you remember the first time you got a sunburn?  Well I can! That sunburn kept me prisoner of my own bed, paralyzed as flaming pins and needles danced over my broiled skin.

When my mom said, "Put on your sunscreen!" I should've listened.

One year when I was 10, my sister and I got the worst sunburns known to man while we were on our annual family vacation at Lake Mead. We spent every day fishing, tanning and eating under the sun because there's not much else to do on a boat with parents.

One day, we told our mom that we had put on sunscreen, but we really hadn't because, like most kids, we hated the stuff.

By bedtime, we were sunburned so badly that we had to sleep naked while our mom put wet towels on us throughout the night.  Needless to say, I use sunscreen every time I am in the sun.  If you don't want to learn the hard way, check out the stories on the right.
