Internet shopping for pets, especially wild ones, is not recommended without doing some research. Before you set up a Wild Kingdom in your home, check all the sites on the Web that relate to the animal you're looking for. Also, you should always check the backgrounds of the breeders for any complaints that may have been filed against them. One of the main problems with purchasing pets online is that you don't get to check the people that raised your best friend in its first months of living. It is probably a good idea to go pick up your pet in person so you don't end up getting an animal that was raised by some Bud-guzzling trailer trash. Finally, you should always get your pet checked out by a vet immediately after purchasing it. You don't want to end up with a lemon of a lynx or a dilapidated dog. Put the byte into your information before your pet puts the bite on you. |
