The Net cares about your pet
|
Like a wise old country veterinarian, the Internet is a vast source of knowledge in aiding you in the proper care of your furry loved one. There are many sites on the Web dedicated to teaching pet owners about health, grooming and proper training. When Fido is sick, you only have as far as your terminal to go to get immediate care. One of the best sites to get health care information is homevet.com. It provides a medical information center, a list of pet care books, an online Q&A center, a message board and a search engine to find information on specific ailments. Another valuable resource for health care information for any type of pet is allpets.com. This site has directories for everything from horses to tarantulas. For the new-age pet, there are even holistic health care sites. A site created by Dr. Larry Bernstein of Miami Beach, Florida gives detailed information about homeopathy, acupuncture, chiropractic care and nutrition for your enlightened animal. Once Fido is over his cold, he'll probably want a nice bath, a haircut and his nails done. Don't fret Fido, the Web has a plethora of information regarding grooming. The best of these sites is The Grooming Resource Center. Its massive library will show you how to get Fido looking like Dapper Dan. Now that Fido is healthy and looking sharp, you might want to get him to stop piddling on your carpets. For behavioral training advice, acmepet.com is where you should click to. This site has all the goods that the other pet sites have and a behavior section. So don't worry, Fido will lick that puppy-pissing problem before you need to replace the rug. |
