Just like a mouse, they clicked Keith and Sue didn't meet in a chat room, they were set up in one. After hanging out in a chat room for two weeks with Sue, Kelly set her up with Keith. They exchanged a total of six e-mails and called each other for six weeks before Keith boarded a 747 from Norfolk, Virginia to Indianapolis to meet her. Keith's stomach was in knots when he met Sue for the first time. "I knew who she was, but I never saw a good picture," Keith said. "Looks are important. Even if they have the best personality, sometimes it's not enough to overcome someone's looks." But that wasn't a problem in this case. Keith thought Sue looked great. After their romantic rendezvous weekend, they had to wait another five months before seeing each other again. They remained in contact through e-mail and phone calls. Keith said nothing changed in those five months. "It was almost like starting a good book again after putting it down for a while. You reread a couple of pages, then pick up where you left off." Currently Keith and Sue are still checking each other out. Both are coming from bad marriages and want to take things slowly. Keith views the Internet as just another way to meet people. "But its global reaching ability might mean that you will meet someone from the other side of the world," he said.
