(Update: 5/00: This homepage no longer exists) It wouldn't take long to find Mike Kelly's name on the Chico State homepage. His contributions to the Chico State Web include projects such as the online soda machine, the O'Connell Web cam and, oh yeah, he is a systems administrator for the engineering/computer science department. The Web cam was just another project that Kelly decided to start. Kelly describes his project best on his homepage.

"The reason I did it was just to do it. I wanted to have a cool project to do," Trown said.
The challenge that Kelly found was keeping up the web site. Although Kelly hasn't started any other projects with web cams, he thought about setting up cameras over the bike racks to keep an eye on bikes or in the parking.
"From there you could see if there was good parking available," Kelly said.
