K Δ Π - Alpha Nu Chapter Meeting Minutes

February 13th, 2004

The Alpha Nu Chapter of Kappa Delta Pi met at BMU 314 at 3:00 P.M. on February 13th for a member meeting. The meeting was called to order by our Publicity Officer. The following officers were present as well as advisors Darryl Eisele and Connie Brennan:

* Gina D has received donations from an out-of-town Washington Mutual. Backpacks, pencil cases, and notepads are a few of the items. A thank you letter needs to be sent. It seems that Washington Mutual receives ~$10,000 a year to contribute to local charities; perhaps we can find funds locally as well?
Announcements: * Up 'Til Dawn celebration will take place on Friday, February 20th at 6:30 P.M. in Shurmer Gym. All are invited.
* Spring 2004 Initiation will be held on Friday, March 26th. Details TBA.
* Chapter Bylaws will be posted online as soon as possible for review. They will be voted on at the next meeting (Feb. 24).
* A bake sale will take place in the BMU on March 2nd from 10-4. Volunteers can sign-up at the next meeting or by contacting Gina S.
* Membership Applications for Spring Initiation are due on March 12th. They can be picked-up and/or returned at the Liberal Studies office (HOLT 101).
* SCTA's Cinderella's Closet will take place on March 7th. Dresses must be donated by March 5th. For further information, contact Beth at 945-2878.
