Throughout the adapted physical activity program university students have a variety of opportunities to work with children from pre-school through high school in adapted physical education settings. These opportunities provide valuable early learning experiences for individuals seeking adapted physical education specialist credentials or masters programs with a focus on adapted physical education.

A study of prescriptive programming for individuals with orthopedic, neurological,
and sensory disabilities. Evaluation of the anatomical and physiological
implications and their effect upon psychomotor functioning.

A study of prescriptive programming for individuals with disabilities,
including mental, emotional, learning, and other health impairments.
Instructional methods and intervention strategies will be
explored in the psychomotor domain.
