This camp is held each summer and is a live-in wheelchair sports camp for children with physical disabilities between the ages of 8–18. Sports include such events as tennis, track and field, team handball, softball, water skiing, swimming, football, and much, much more. Events are coached by athletes with disabilities and students from the university adapted physical education and therapeutic recreation programs serve as camp counselors, volunteers, and activity planners. This camp has been running for over 20 years and many of the students who participated in the past are now coaches of the camp as well as competitive athletes.
No other courses are specifically required to work with this program. However, many students apply for positions and or volunteer for this valuable experience.
