PETE: Overview of the PETE Blended Program

General Education 45-54 54 units include:
  • HIST 130 (3 units), which can count as GE Area C (1,2 or 3)
  • POLS 155 (3 units), which can count as GE Area D (1,2 or 3)
  • HCSV 451 double counts as Area E
PETE B.A. 44-47 47 units include:
  • BIO 103 (4 units)
  • BIO10 4 (4 units)
    (one of which can count as GE Area B-2)
CSUC Credential Program pre/co-requisites 6-18 18 units include:
  • HCSV 451 (3 units), which can count as GE Area E
  • Foreign Language (6 units), of which 4 units can count as GE Area C-2. Two years of single language study in high school will fulfill this requirement (with passing grade).
  • Can take ENGL 470 off campus and avoid ENGL 371 (prerequisite)
CSU Credential Program 26 18 units include:

  • KINE 321 for EDTE 580 A (3 units)
  • KINE 484 for EDTE 533 (3 units)
