Department Description:
The Collection Management & Technical Services Department is responsible for selecting, acquiring and cataloging all of the library materials contained in the Meriam Library. The Department coordinates the work of academic department faculty (faculty book chair) and librarians,who cooperatively select individual titles and monitor the approval plan. In addition to these functions, the Collection Management & Technical Services Department provides Serials Control for the Library's collection of journals, newspapers, magazines, books in series and other publications issued in sequence, and receives and catalogs government documents. The Mendery, Bindery, Digital Resources Management and Online Learning Support units are part of this department
