In keeping with the policy of not processing books going to Rare Books, we will use the booksmarks on which to place the barcode and labels.
If a book is being transferred from elsewhere to Rare Book, it is okay to leave the existing barcode in the book. Put labels on a book mark with note "Barcode is in Book." If possible cover up or remove existing labels on the book.
