If library has two editions the 049 field should read as follows:

• $l LATEST EDITION REFERENCE
• $l EARLIER EDITION HELD IN MAIN COLLECTION

Holding code should be CCHZ

Above policy is effective May 23, 1991 per Henrietta Lo.

For titles currently having only one edition in collection:

049 field should reflect exact holdings until a future edition is added to the collection.

Holding code should be CCHZ
