SEARCHING ON OCLC

Last edited: July 8, 1991

Use OCLC number from order slip if available, but remember the information on order slip does not always match the actual book.

The second choice for searching is ISBN number or LC number. Remember, the information on order slip is not always correct.

The third choice is author/title, then title, and then author, all of which may be qualified by date if possible.

With PRISM, you can search by full text Title

Remember: if you can't find the exact record, search by more general searches and look at other possible records before giving up on search.
