Library Public Use Policy
Study rooms are located on the East side of the library on floors 2 and 3. They are first come / first served and cannot be reserved. You may be asked for your university I. D. to verify that you are a student. Large study groups of four or more CSU, Chico students have priority room use in rooms 258, 355 and 362.
Students working in groups can reserve a room with a computer to collaborate on a group project. The rooms are equipped with large monitors to facilitate easy viewing by all. Reservations can be made by visiting the help desk in the Student Computing Lab, Room 116.
Students working in groups and needing a computer to collaborate on a group project can also use the Net Study rooms found in MLIB 259, 260, 354, and 363. The rooms are equipped with large monitors and white boards. No reservations are required for the Net Study rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floor.
If all the study rooms are in use, there are large tables on the 4th floor for group study. White boards and large tables are available on the east end. We request that conversations be kept at a level that does not disturb others.
The 3rd floor is reserved for quiet study only.
Wildcat Wireless connectivity is available throughout the building. Use your portal credentials to logon. So come in, sit down, plug in, and get connected.
