If you have interest in teaching kindergarten through 8th grade, Liberal Studies is the ideal major for the teachers of tomorrow. In addition to preparing future teachers, the Liberal Arts program offers a diversity of education beyond other majors.
Liberal Studies has many opportunities for the diversity of students acquiring an education. General education, cultural diversity, and the American Institution requirements are completed with in the Liberal Studies program regardless of the chosen pattern. The Pre-Credential Programs prepare students for continuing a path towards being a teacher in the near future. Liberal Arts offers a broad background across many of the disciplines available at Chico .
