CSU, Chico offers a variety of professional organizations for students.

  • Kappa Delta Pi (KDP)

    Kappa Delta Pi, a nationally recognized Honor society in education, is dedicated to scholarship and excellence in the field of education while assisting local schools and children in various projects and events. For our members, we provide a multitude of services that include various speakers relating to education, opportunities to get involved with the Chico community, a network of friends and professionals in education throughout the nation, as well as many other benefits that help future and present teachers.   • Student California Teachers Association (SCTA)

Student CTA strives to be a recognized and collaborative organization that inspires and fosters exemplary future leaders in education.  Student CTA endeavors to develop qualified, skilled and passionate  future educators prepared to address evolving challenges in the profession.  Political action is a way to be proactive and informed to gain a personal understanding of the issues that concern your profession in order to publicly influence positive change.  Community service helps future educators develop, foster and improve the community and creates positive relationships.
