Policies: Library is open to physicians on staff and nurses
employed by Lassen Community Hospital. Physicians and nurses
may borrow items. There are no fees. The library is not
open to the public.
Services: Interlibrary loan. The library does not loan books
or periodicals. The Lassen Community Hospital Medical Library
contains approximately 250 volumes, with about 8 volumes
added : per year. The library subscribes to 2 periodicals.
The emphasis is put on the acquisition of textbooks for
medical staff. At present, there are 13 active staff physicians
and 80 nurses and hospital employees served by the library.

Service Policies: The Library is open to the public. There
are no use or borrowers' fees.
Services: Very limited patron assistance, telephone assistance,
photocopy, ability to get materials from the State Law Library.
The library does not loan books or periodicals. The library
does provide photocopy service. Any number of pages of books
may be copied at .10 per page.

Special Collections: Pictures of nearly all subjects
Service Policies: Library is open to church members or by
special arrangement. Church members may borrow items There
are no use or borrowers' fees. Services: Patron assistance,
assistance by telephone and mail, interlibrary loan, media
equipment, photocopy, and microfilm /microfiche reader.
The library loans books, though the supply is limited. Individual
and bound issues of periodicals may be borrowed. The library
does provide photocopy service. Periodicals may be copied
at no charge. The library receives and sends interlibrary
loan requests from individual members. ILL items are loaned
for a period of 2 weeks. Overdue notices are sent as soon
after the due date as possible.

Service policies: The library is open to the public. There
are no use or borrowers' fees, except for film or fiche
ordered from Salt Lake City (rent plus postage fee). All
ordered microfilm and fiche must remain in the Library.
Services: Patron, mail, and telephone assistance. Photocopy
service available for a small fee. Microfilm/microfiche
readers. IBM compatible computer. The library card catalog
includes most of the information from Salt Lake City. The
library can not: borrow anything from Salt Lake City that
is in book form, but can ask to have books filmed, with
author's per mission, for a small charge. Files available
from this library include the International Genealogical
Index and the Social Security EDS file.

reader and printer (limited use and number of copies; small
charge for copies). Non-confidential and/or proprietary
library information is available to the public. However,
current policy precludes loan/issue of BLM library materials
and equipment. Special requests for information may be accepted
on a case by case basis. Requests should be in writing allowing
adequate response time for library staff.
