You are likely familiar with the holdings at local community colleges and public libraries. Here are some other library sites in your area that you may be able to use. Please observe user restrictions. These libraries were compiled from the 1991 North State Library Co-operative Directory. Service Policies: Library is open to the public for on-site use only. There are no use or borrowers' fees.
Services: The library does not loan books or periodicals. The library does provide photocopy service. Only previously published material may be copied at the rate of .15 per page. The Museum has a limited number of books relating to Trinity County local history, as well as a file of documents categorized and indexed by subject matter. Historical research is permitted by appointment only. Photocopy of original papers is not permitted - they remain the property of the Trinity County Historical Society.

Services: Patron assistance, telephone assistance, mail assistance, media equipment, microfilm/microfiche readers. The library does not loan books or periodicals. The library does provide interlibrary loan service with the main library in Salt Lake City, Utah. Fees for materials ordered from Salt Lake City are $2.50 for 3 weeks plus .29 postage, $4.00 for months plus .29 for postage, and $6.00 for an indefinite period with no postage fee. The library charges for damaged materials depending on the nature of the damage. The library has some genealogy forms available free and some for purchase.
