Main vision and purpose:
The purpose of the Retention Team is to fellowship and strengthen all ward members, and provide support for all converts and new ward members; to make contact with each ward member at least once each semester. Through visits and invitations to activities, the Team reaches and touches members of the ward and helps them draw closer to each other and to Christ.
Highlights:
Members who serve on the Retention Team, and those who are contacted through it, each gain and strengthen relationships with each other. The Team provides members with a renewed sense of direction each week and reliable resources to turn toward for support. Team efforts assist members to get connected with ward activities. Success is achieved through member acceptance and involvement in activities happening throughout the ward. The products and flourishing outcomes of the Team are often overlooked; they really do make a difference in helping members feel loved and needed in the ward!
