Identification of Patrons with Borrowing Privileges
The following groups of patrons are entitled to a designated form of campus ID.

Courtesy Borrowers
The following groups of patrons are entitled to a courtesy card. Patron must complete a courtesy card application including driver's license or DMV identification number and Social Security number.

Nonaffiliated Library Users
Patrons residing within our service area* who do not qualify as a courtesy borrower may purchase a Nonaffiliated User (NAU) card for borrowing privileges. See NAU Policy for details.
*Service Area: Butte, Colusa, Glenn, Lassen, Modoc, Plumas, Shasta, Siskiyou, Sutter, Tehama, Trinity and Yuba counties.
Note
The Meriam Library is open to patrons from throughout the region. However, only those patrons listed in the categories above may borrow materials with the exception of government documents which may circulate to patrons with a driver's license or DMV identification card. Others are welcome to use materials in the building, with the exception of reserve and some nonprint materials.
