Areas of special interest in Curriculum textbooks and kits:

State Frameworks are found in multiple copies at the beginning of each subject area. Exception is curr LS 200 for foreign languages.

curr TS limited loan collection, Africa kit, India kit, Guatemala kit, and Rock collection are found in room 408. These circulate with a special permission slip through limited loan.

There are art lesson plans for different ethnicities found in curr AR in kit section.

These two popular state publications are found in curr GC: Caught in the Middle, and It's Elementary.

Look in curr HE to evaluate a Health curriculum. This would consist of kits, binders, etc. (anything other than a single book or text).

curr LR readers are in order on shelf by grade level. Chico Unified School District is using Houghton Mifflin literary readers: curr LR 10 C3 H83h. This is third grade (C3). Check under curr LR 10 ? H83h under the specific grade leve l you want.

For English as a second language, see LA 90 books and kits.

For textbooks in other languages, see curr LS.

In curr TE, we have an excellent collection of Activity Books. TE 30 includes conflict resolution, discipline, stress management, self esteem activities. curr TE 85 includes some overlap with curr TE 30-look here for peacemaking activities. curr TE 55 has general language arts activities as well activities integrating the disciplines, e.g., teaching science through language arts, etc.

The Reavis Collection offers booklets on current trends and topics in education. These booklets are published by Phi Delta Kappa and are an excellent resource. They are Library Use Only, but under extenuating circumstances, circulate with a permission slip for a day or two.

Our Microfiche Collection (in green cabinet) is an excellent source for sample curriculum guides on all subjects. Use the subject guide on top of cabinet and retrieve microfiche by citation number. Deposit in basket on top of cabinet after u se.

Periodicals are in alphabetical order on shelf and circulate with a permission slip for a day or two.

Picture, Poster File: These are filed by subject. Please take only those pictures that are needed, and not the entire folder. These are checked out at circulation.
