California Occupational
Guides are a series of about 300 information sheets covering
individual occupations or groups of related occupations. They
provide statewide information about job duties, working conditions,
employment outlook, wages, benefits, entrance requirements,
and training.
Career
Opportunities Reports were developed to aid students and
career professionals in the exploration of career opportunities
in five industries: Health Services; Arts, Media, and Entertainment;
Hospitality, Tourism and Recreation; Information Technology;
and Manufacturing.
Employment and Wages by Occupation : wage data for all geographic areas of California
Projections of Employment by Industry and Occupation estimate the changes in industry and occupational employment over time resulting from industry growth, changes in technology, and other factors. These data are commonly called "occupational outlook" or "demand occupations.
