Narrowing Your Topic

Finding too much information may mean that you need to narrow your topic. For example Butterflies is more specific than Insects and Monarch Butterflies is more specific than Butterflies.

'Monarch butterflies' is a more specific topic than 'Insects'
Try rewording your question with more specific terms.

For example, instead of asking, "What are the laws on drinking and driving?" ask:

"What are California's laws on drinking and driving?"

Or, instead of asking, "What are the statistics on drinking and driving?" ask:

"What are the statistics on teenage drinking and driving?"
