Accuracy: is supporting evidence cited and
does the information contain errors?

Things to Consider:

  • Are there references that can be checked to verify the accuracy of the information?
Many documents contain footnotes or citations that can be used to confirm data or factual statements.

  • Are there any obvious errors or omissions in the information?
It is important when writing a paper not to have errors in your footnotes so that if someone were searching for these articles, they would be able to find them.
