Choosing an Index/Database? As you can see, there are several ways to choose a database. Two of the most popular methods are: 1) Databases A - Z (listed alphabetically by title), and 2) Databases by Subject (listed by broad academic subject categories)

Searching Specific Databases Because online indexes/databases have a variety of interfaces, or search engines, this tutorial will not cover how to search individual databases. For information about searching a particular database, click on the help button/link within that database.
