The Meriam Library frequently
receives inquiries from off-campus groups interested in library tours and orientations as well as using the library collections for research.
These groups include K-12 school groups (private and public), community
college groups, and senior citizen groups. While our library is a public
institution and welcomes visitors, unfortunately we do not have the
staff or resources to lead guided tours for off-campus groups. Teachers
or group leaders will need to conduct their own tours. To help prepare for tours, you may find some of the following links helpful.
Most of the computers in the library require a CSU, Chico portal password log-on. However, there are several computers on every floor that allow public access without a password. Keep in mind that CSU, Chico students and faculty have priority usage of all computers.
