Students attend Localization World, Montreal

October 16 through October 18, 2006 seven localization program students had the opportunity to go to the Localization World Conference in Montreal , Canada . This opportunity was made possible by Localization World Conference organizers. Students learned cutting edge developments in the field, networked and promoted the program to participants.

Comments from Attending Students:

“I feel fortunate that I am one of the first people to receive this kind of education because I feel that I will have an advantage in the future of the Localization industry.”

“This was an amazing learning experience for me because it gave me a chance to make contacts as well as really get a feeling for what the industry was all about.”

“After attending the conference I feel that I have a significant advantage over other students of Localization. First, my knowledge of Localization has increased far beyond the average student. Next, the networking I was able to do has turned into the beginning stages of the interview process with the number one company in Localization.”

Executive Lecturers

In addition to regular full-time faculty the program also has a vibrant executive lecture series program. Executives from the industry participate in the program by providing class room instruction on emerging topics and technologies in localization. We have a core group of dedicated executive lecturers and guest lecturers participating in the executive lecturer series.
