UPS

Mail Services and Shipping & Receiving are responsible for the pick-up and document preparation assistance when outbound UPS® shipments are requested by campus staff and faculty.

In addition to the above:

  • Mail Services is also responsible for the chargeback to a department postage account (Mailbag Code) for services used when UPS® is the carrier.
  • Shipping & Receiving is also responsible for the internal campus delivery of inbound UPS® shipments and carrier staging for outbound UPS® shipments for campus staff and faculty.

Inbound

UPS® packages are delivered to and received by the Shipping & Receiving staff at 940 West First Street.

Shipping & Receiving, using our internal tracking/delivery system, makes the final delivery and captures a signature at your department office.

Supplies

Mail Services maintains an inventory of UPS® packaging at no cost (University business only). UPS® packaging is for use withe UPS Next Day Air, 2nd Day Air and Worldwide Services. Email mailroom@csuchico.edu or call us at 530-898-5326 to request UPS® supplies.
