Meet your 2017-2018 Student Ambassadors!

Every year the College of Behavioral Sciences and the Department of Multicultural and Gender Studies selects students to represent and give voice to the departments. So who are your 2017-2018 Student Ambassadors?

Ruby Ferguson is a third year student here at Chico State working on a double major in Multicultural & Gender Studies and Psychology. They are also a student ambassador for the MCGS Department and an active member in The African Diaspora Organization and Psi Chi (The International Honor Society in Psychology) here on campus. "Being a part of the MCGS department at Chico State," Ruby says, "has made my college experience better than I could have imagined."


Romelo Thornton

Romelo Thornton

Romelo Thornton is a second year here at Chico State double majoring in Multicultural & Gender Studies and Sociology. Romelo is a student ambassador for the MCGS Department and is involved in fighting for LGBTQ+ rights. "Coming to Chico State and choosing to be part of the MCGS department has allowed me to form bonds with faculty and fellow students that I will always cherish," Romelo says, "it has also given me opportunities to network and create new connections.
