The MEP Housing Program is located in the University Village,
the only university-owned apartment complex in Chico. The housing
program provides space for 24-35 students who are usually assigned
for one year. Students must apply to live in the MEP Housing
program at University Village. Other students are encouraged
to seek on-campus housing at the Housing Office, or off-campus
housing that can be sought through real estate agencies, or
local and school newspapers. The University Village program
is tailored after the residence hall program, while still giving
its residents the benefits and feel of an apartment community.
Because the Village is a part of the University Housing and
Food Service, students enjoy many of the benefits that our on-campus
residents have: Village Council, The Residence Hall Association,
programming, community building, a choice of living environments,
use of the rec-center, a computer lab, live-in staff, and more!
The Village is a leisurely (just a little less than a mile)
bike ride from campus. Free bus service to and from campus is
also available. Choose a link from the right hand navigation
